Kyle Porter is a PhD candidate and research fellow in the Testimon Digital Forensics Lab at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
His research is concerned with utilizing string-matching theory and machine learning in the context of digital forensics. Applications of the research includes filesystem metadata record carving, approximately matching keywords, and data mining textual information for intelligence purposes.
